One EXE will install the official ChatGPT desktop app with Codex, let you choose Auto, Simplified Chinese, or English for setup and the app language preference, configure the PhotonMark Pay Base URL, and open the app and Dashboard. It never embeds a customer token.

Windows may show Unknown publisher or a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prompt. Download only from this page, verify the SHA-256 above, and choose to run it only if the hash matches. The embedded official OpenAI.Codex MSIX retains its Microsoft Marketplace signature.
After installation
- Open ChatGPT Desktop and enter Codex.
- The installer saves your selected language preference. Availability of translated Codex UI still follows OpenAI's official rollout.
- Choose Sign in another way → Use API Key, or choose Use API Key directly when shown.
- Copy the API Key allocated to your Codex Pay service from the PhotonMark Dashboard and paste it into Codex.
- Do not share the allocated token. It controls access to your Pay balance and can be rotated from the Dashboard.
This one-click flow is for Codex Pay only. Link and Boost retain their own ChatGPT authorization and use the service-specific setup shown in the Dashboard. Availability still follows OpenAI's supported-country and account policies.
Recommended Installation
Install or upgrade to the latest ChatGPT desktop app, Codex CLI, or IDE Extension. Older Codex clients may still send deprecated ChatGPT-login model names such as gpt-5.3-codex and fail. Compatibility
The official macOS download requires macOS 14 or later and Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). Windows users can use the current Microsoft-signed official Web Installer, which installs the ChatGPT desktop app with Codex and handles official updates.

The Windows Web Installer comes from Microsoft's official delivery service and retains Microsoft's digital signature. The PhotonMark mirror matches the SHA-256 shown on this page. For Codex Pay after installation, follow the one-click setup instructions at the top of this page to configure the Base URL and use the allocated API Key.

After installation, run codex; on first run, sign in to ChatGPT or choose another available sign-in method. When you need PhotonMark service, copy the dedicated config from the dashboard.
